My encounter with a male "Karen"

Karen is a disparaging term typically used to refer to a woman who is entitled or excessively demanding. I had the unfortunate experience of meeting the male version at Five Star Dim Sum at Blk106 Clementi Street 12 yesterday at lunchtime. I was in the queue with my daughter marking down a few items for our takeaway, when this man who looked to be in his 50s, tapped me on the shoulder. He said that I should let him go first since he already finished ticking the dishes he wanted to order. I told him to go ahead, but instead of thanking me, he continued to mutter that I should not be blocking his way when I was still ticking down my order list. I replied that it was still some way to the cashier so I didn't see why he was so impatient to expect me to let him stand 1 place before me in the queue. I then warned him that if he did not shut his mouth, I would shut it for him.
