Have cheaper version too...... for export only w/o warranty + made in china = available at discounted price (about $150 less than original model).

If it is an Apple product, it should be covered by world wide warranty.

I didn't know there were IPAD clones out there

German Engineering in the house!!! Let the Pad Wars begin!
German iPad competitor WePad (now renamed to WeTab) is now taking pre-orders though Amazon.de for both WeTab 16GB and WeTab 32GB 3G devices.
Priced at 449 Euros (~568 USD) for non-3G 16GB version, it’s surely going to create some competition to Apple’s flagship product. WeTab 32GB 3G would cost you 569 Euros.
Too bad “Amazon.de will be shipping to Germany only”
