<!-- end left side bar --> <!-- story content : start --> A YOUNG Australian national suspected of being involved in the death of a Malaysian consulate driver in Sydney was brought to the Subordinate Courts on Thursday on a warrant of arrest. Andrew Harizan Iskandar, a 20-year-old tertiary student, was arrested at Changi Airport on Wednesday evening when he flew in from Australia. His father, Hazairin Iskandar, 55, a taxi driver, has been charged with the murder of Mr Mohd Shah Saemin, 43, at Leichhardt, in inner-west of Sydney.

The Malacca-born driver with the Malaysian consulate was bashed with a hammer and repeatedly stabbed outside his home at Leichhardt in Sydney's inner west at about midnight on Sunday.
The divorcee allegedly had an affair with a colleague, Nita Eriza Iskandar, 46, an accounts clerk. She was arrested at Leichhardt on Wednesday and charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder and hindering a police investigation. In the case of the young Iskandar, Australian police are seeking to extradite him. He was remanded for a week after a brief appearance in court. All three are believed to be related.
