The heavy rain last Friday (Jun 26) caused a flood at the second level of this multi-storey carpark in Choa Chu Kang. The water flowed down to the first level and the basement of the carpark, says STOMPer Airpro.
He wrote in an email:
"Last Friday (Jun 26), the heavy rain at 8am caused a flood at the second level of the multi-storey carpark.
"The water flowed down to Level 1, also the lift lobby, and the basement of the carpark.
"Luckily, last Friday's heavy rain only lasted for 2 hours. If it continued the whole day, I believed all vehicles at the basement will be in trouble, just like those in the Orchard Road and Bukit Timah flood incidents.
"I also wish to highlight that whenever there is heavy rain, the footpath from Block 462A leading to Block 462 in Choa Chu Kang Ave 4 will be flooded.
"This has caused great inconvenience to the residents of Block 462.
"Feedback has been sent to Hong Kah Town Council and over the past few years, the problem still has not been solved."
