Lemme guess... to increase profits, they used crappy materials to construct the NEL? For example, tracks, signalling system, trains.

It's the same with newer flats, not only are they smaller, they tend to not feel as 'solid' as the older flats.

Actually all these problems today on these relatively new lines (circle line included) are the fault of the LTA. Those fuckers in LTA are supposed to oversee and supervise the projects to ensure the use of quality materials. However, they have lapsed and recent investigations had already revealed that substandard electrical cables and its support systems had been used and all these will need to be replaced from 2013 over an extended period due to the limited working hours during the shutdown periods. Why? Why had the LTA allowed such oversights during the construction of these new train lines? Taking exorbitant salaries and yet sleeping on the job. Fuck to them indeed.
