20 PAP MPs retiring


Lee also mentioned that a total of 20 PAP MPs are retiring this election.

Three PAP veterans have made known that they are retiring so far..



That leaves 17 MPs yet to announce their retirement.

This number is actually less than the speculated number of retiring PAP MPs circulating on social media, which places the number around 21 to 27 retiring MPs.

Some of the other MPs that might be stepping down include Lim Swee Say, Lee Bee Wah, Teo Ho Pin, Lim Hng Kiang, Teo Ser Luck, and Seah Kian Peng, just to name a few.

Lee said that these MPs are retiring to make way for party renewal and is a display of putting the interest of party and nation first.
