Xiaomi's strength is giving you high-end specs (the Mi4 actually outspecs the iPhone 6) at low to mid-end prices.

These Internet brands you're touting give you low-end prices for low-end specs.

So I'd still say Xiaomi gives better value for money.

What's amusing is that there are many that will buy very low end unknown branded phones for their chewren and maids that cost less than $50 eg.

4GB ROM
256MB / 512 MB RAM
No bluetooth
No GPS
No built-in 3G

For basic usage

Cmon.. there are many vendors at Qoo10 clearing old, refurbished stocks..

Samsung Note II (time sale) price at $113 and Samsung S3, S4, Lenovo refurbished phones clearing for under $100.

Some maids are luckier than others, they got iphones pass down from their employers :D
