MOS Lam to Defend Sengkang West! Temple Associations To Give 100% Support! WP Farked!

The People's Action Party has announced its candidates for the Sengkang West and Hougang Single Member Constituencies (SMC).

Minister of State for Health Lam Pin Min will stand again as the People's Action Party’s (PAP) candidate in Sengkang West. 45 year-old Dr Lam has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Sengkang West since the last General Election in 2011, when the ward was carved out from Ang Mo Kio GRC. Prior to that, he was an MP for the Ang Mo Kio GRC. He was appointed Minister of State for Health in August 2014. In the last GE, Dr Lam won 58.11 per cent of the vote against Workers’ Party candidate Koh Choong Yong. The Workers’ Party has said it will be contesting the Sengkang West seat again in the upcoming GE.

Grassroots leader Lee Hong Chuang will contest the Hougang SMC. Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong announced today at a press conference that he expects a "tough fight" against the incumbent from the Workers’ Party, Mr Png Eng Huat. Of the new candidate, the Prime Minister said: "He has fighting spirit and goes there with the full backing of the party. We will help him convince voters their current MP is not doing as much as he should."

45 year-old Mr Lee Hong Chuang is the chairman of Hougang Community Club Management Committee, a position which he assumed last September. He was also the vice-president of Singapore Gymnastics. He is a long-standing volunteer in the sporting arena. He has chaired and organised national projects such as the inaugural Youth Olympic Games and 28ths SEA Games as Competition Manager. He also led the national gymnastics team to several competitions as team manager. He was awarded the Public Service Star in 2013’s National Day Awards as the Chairman of the T-Net Advisory Council under the People’s Association (PA), according to the Prime Minister’s Office website.

The developers develop Singapore, provide jobs, pay way more taxes. They contribute to Singapore way more than the collective efforts of the residents, most of whom are more interested in goodie bags, free meals at buffet tables and often threaten the MP to vote against Singapore if they are not given little freebies.

Minister Lam did the right thing to sit with the developers.

You farkers need to understand that if the banks repaid you the money, it would have affected their balance sheet for the year, which may mean less bonus for management and less dividends for shareholders. Stock price may also fall, causing the bank to lose billions in stock value over some shitty High 5 Notes that at most were worth around $100 M. It was far cheaper to hire lawyers and make a few calls to high places to deal with farking sinkies.

Anyway, sinkies rewarded the guy who fought for the minibond victims by making him lose his deposit in the Presidential Elections.

So the banks did the right thing to resist paying out compensation to most of the investors and hire lawyers to challenge most of the cases.
