SINGAPORE – A 51-year-old man has been arrested over a fire that broke out at Whampoa Heights on May 29.

In photos of the incident, flames can be seen on the second and third floors of Block 20 Jalan Tenteram, with thick black plumes of smoke billowing into the air.

Firefighters from the Central Fire Station responded to the fire at about 11.40am, and put it out using two water jets, said the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).

The fire involved items placed in the common corridors outside two flats – one on the second floor and one on the third floor, SCDF noted. The blaze charred the insides of these two units, and caused heat and soot damage to some neighbouring flats.

Five people aged between 12 and 74, including the suspect, were taken conscious to hospital for smoke inhalation, according to SCDF and the police. About 40 people were evacuated as a precaution.

Police said the suspect was subsequently arrested for the offence of mischief by fire.

Investigations are ongoing.

The SCDF advised members of the public to help maintain a safe living environment by keeping common corridors, lift lobbies and staircases free of clutter.

They purposely committed petty crime in order to get free stay and meal and medical checkup in Changi.

My ex form teacher did that and stayed in Changi for 3 years.

While in Changi, he rented out his flat for 3 years.

He is out now and enjoy at least 100k cash in his bank account

You must understand the mindset of retired people.

1. Above 55, they will not be canned
2. Old people don’t mind staying in the jail to get free lodging, meal and medical checkup.

3. Ah sir also pay special attention of these old people inside the jail.

4. They feel safe there

5. They rent out their hdb and collect cash

Generally for old prisoners, so long as they commit petty crime, not sexual crime, ah sirs in prisons respect them and taking care of them.

They also greet them as uncles and aunties.

My ex form teacher asked his trusted relative to take care of his entire hdb unit for 3 years, rented out and collected more than 100k hard cash

He told me this
As his age, no need to feel shame to stay in the jail.

Health and cash is more important.

Stay in jail, people take care of your health.
Doctor inside prison give u free checkup.

No need to worry about lodging and food and utility bills.

Once out, got 3 years of rental collection

Inside the jail, got people wake you up and order u to do exercise

Sections 325–332 of the Criminal Procedure Code 2010 lay down the procedures governing caning. They include the following:
A male offender between the ages of 18 and 50 who has been certified to be in a fit state of health by a medical officer is liable to be caned.[3]

Above 50, remember bro! Timing is very important

I always carrying this in my bucket list after I turned 55.
I reserving it for proper use.
My preference is to issue a fucking punch. But I check the sentence is long so till to date I can't issue it.

In Singapore, punching someone can be classified as voluntarily causing hurt under Section 323 of the Penal Code. This offense carries a maximum penalty of up to 3 years' imprisonment, a fine of up to S$5,000, or both .

叔叔有练过?

Has TS check if they were vaxtards? If they were, you will know why

If u hit ERS tier (enhance retirement sum), you will get 3080 to 3310 per month.

Also if u fully paid up your hdb , u can ask ur relative to rent out the entire unit for 3000 per month.

In total $6000 per month you can save up while staying in free Changi lodging.

If you stay for 3 yrs, you get $6000x72 =$432,000.00

You do the calculation and u tell me why older people should seriously consider committing petty crime or not
