2nd worksite accident in 24 hours: This time 600-tonne crane slips off trailer at National Stadium

Stomper Ray said a 600-tonne crane slipped off a trailer at the National Stadium at 5.30pm yesterday (Jan 29).

According to the Stomper, no one was injured and the area was immediately cordoned off.

Stomper Ray said:

"A 600-tonne crane slipped off a trailer at the National Stadium at 5.30pm yesterday (Jan 29).

"The crane was being demobilised when the incident happened."

This is the second worksite incident reported in a day, with the earlier incident taking place in Sentosa at 3.15pm yesterday.

In the Sentosa accident, one worker was killed and eleven others injured when a scaffolding at a construction site near Palawan Beach collapsed.
