MS TAY LI HUANG: 'I was queuing at a cash deposit machine outside the Yew Tee Branch POSB on Monday evening when an inconsiderate user decided to make multiple transactions, ignoring the queue that started lengthening. When a woman asked him politely whether he was finished and if he could stop and rejoin the queue if he hadn't to let others have their turn, he castigated her loudly and showered her with obscenities. I saw at least five transaction slips on one hand. POSB should make it a policy to limit a user to a maximum of three transactions at any one time to keep inconsiderate hoggers from abusing the use of its automated machines.'

Idiots peasants wasting others time ! Minimum transaction withdrawal should be $500 !

So no ones withdraws $20 or $50 ! Withdrawal once for a week is enough !

They bother to walk and withdraw stupid small amount what is worst wasting other's time !

wa piang, the law doesn't prohibit one from making multiple transactions at an atm. queing is already a life style here. do you complaint to the turf club if the queue is too long for toto? WTF, you thought you are a female and may looked beautiful and you can cow pei cow bu. the guy is just teaching you a lesson - never look down on a local.

Why complain when you wanna keep your account with these shit banks :(
Close your account and move on !! There are many other banks that offer quality service and value you as their customer.

I once witnessed this incident whereby an elderly couple were in the queue of this POSB branch along Jln Besar........ as it was a busy day the queue was very long..... and after waiting for more than half an hour it was the elderly couple's turn........ KNN the counter staff asked them to go use the machines situated outside the bank as they only wanted to deposit some cash :(

This couple dun know how to work the machines that's why they joined the queue..... but the bank staff couldn't care less :(

I really don't understand why people support DBS/POSB Everyday got long queues.

Whenever I have to pay my Maybank or Citibank CC bill, I can sit in comfort while waiting. if there's a queue its usually short.

Alot of friends & colleagues feel the same way, when DBS took over POSB alot of them closed their POSB account

Its ok if the person at the ATM machine know what he/she is doing, the problem is a lot of people stand at the machine trying to figure out what to do, then slot the ATM card in, look at the screens for ages, hit cancel, then try again, and again, and yet again.
