A woman in China has made a video recording for her young triplets to watch on their future wedding days as she has been diagnosed with cancer and fears she may not live to see them grow up, reports the Sichuan-based Chengdu Business Daily.

"My biggest baby, do you still remember how your mommy looked? Today is your wedding day and I taped this video more than 20 years ago. I hope you live a happy life," says the woman, surnamed Li, who addresses each of her three daughters in the video.

The woman's children may have already seen the video by the time they get married, however, as it has been uploaded to the internet and gone viral, with more than 1 million views so far. Many netizens said they were moved to tears after watching it.

Li had to have a hysterectomy after she gave birth to her daughters and was later diagnosed with a stomach-related cancer when her children were three years old. She taped the video this spring, when she began to receive treatment in hospital.

"I was depressed at that time and had no hope for my life. My greatest regret is that I will not be able to go to their weddings," Li said, adding that a friend had helped her tape the video.
