MOM Streamlines Passes For Foreigners! Singapore Welcomes Global Talents!

Please see the news from MOM as below:

MOM will be streamlining the types of work passes for foreigners who are married to Singapore Citizens (SCs) or Permanent Residents (PRs)

From 1 February 2015, foreign spouses of SCs or PRs on Long Term Visit passes (LTVP) will be issued a Letter of Consent (LOC) if they wish to work in Singapore. This arrangement is similar to that currently in place for Long Term Visit Plus pass (LTVP+)

Spouses of Employment Pass holders can work in Singapore. The spouse may consider working on an Employment Pass. Prevailing eligibility criteria will have to be met. Alternatively, spouses on Dependant's Pass may also work on a Letter of Consent from MOM. The employer with whom the spouse has secured a job is to submit the application for an Employment Pass or a Letter Of Consent.

Many Singaporeans can not get job for many months, all jobs have been taken by foreign trash and now MOM gives jobs to their spouses by keep approving LOC for LTVP and DP.

From our surveys, almost Singaporeans applied for jobs never get a call for many months, even if they had calls from companies or agencies, after a few questions such as: Are you Singaporean? What is your current job? What is your last draw salary and what is your expect salary?...Then they will never contacted us again.

Or after attended interview, Singaporean will never been selected because all companies have already taken FTs, who have the same experiences, the same qualifications (even lower) with cheaper salaries and without paying CPF.

Many MNCs and foreign companies have projects with job agencies, our gov gave a huge of foreigners employee quota for those agencies, so you can see almost MNCs in Singapore has 90% of FTs, salaries and contracts under agency's names, not main company's names. Nobody checks job agencies about this.

Singaporeans went for interview, all have been rejected because nowadays almost MNC foreign companies only targeted for hiring foreigners. Singaporeans want to have high pay jobs? Don't dream of it, companies will never call us for interview, even we go for interview, only waste our time because they won't hire us, they only hire foreigners,or spouses of foreigners and MOM is helping them for this.

Hire foreigners they can pay less salary, they don't need to pay CPF for foreigners, they can hire their own kind of people, and MOM is always helping them, why they need to hire Singaporeans? Singaporeans start to looking for low pay lousy jobs, no chance to work in big companies nowadays, so don't dream of it, all good jobs and high pay jobs FTs already taken.

Even low pay jobs also have been taken by SP holders, many agencies tried to bring a huge number of foreigner workers for many companies in Singapore.

MOM is closing their eyes and keep approving, and renewing their passes. The number of unemployed Singaporean is increasing every day. Number of bankruptcy Singaporean is increasing too.

Schools are full of FT's kids, no place for Singaporean kids to study nowadays.

ICA also keep approving PR and Citizenship for FTs.

Now in our country, Singaporeans are working like hell to serve FTs, beg jobs from FTs, live lower than FTs, FTs step on our head to stand, Singapore is slowly belong to FTs, no longer belong to Singaporean anymore. We should thanks our Gov and MOM for pushing us to the worst situation like today, and prepare for our life will be worse in future.

It's pretty easy.

If MOM gives an employment pass to a married foreign talent, MOM is effectively giving out two passes; one for the foreign talent, one for his/her spouse. It's a pretty good deal for the married foreign talent.

Yes effectively means they can sidestep and not issue work permits/employment passes for this group of FTs.....
The stats will look better but root problem ignored or even get worse as now easier for employers to hire this group of FTs
