“Uphold values of respect, professionalism, integrity and social responsibility”

According to the Straits Times report “Health-care workers must ‘uphold values of respect’: Health Ministry” (Jan 10) – “Public health-care professionals, both local and foreign, are expected to uphold values of respect, professionalism, integrity and social responsibility, said the Health Ministry (MOH).”

Got “respect” for Roy Ngerng?

Where was “respect” in the sacking of Roy Ngerng when one of the reasons cited for his sacking was his defamation suit when the hearing had not even commenced yet?

Got “professionalism” in the way Roy Ngerng was sacked?

Where was the “professionalism” in giving Roy Ngerng just hours to leave his job, without any prior notice?

Got “integrity” – no fairness and natural justice?

Where was the “integrity” in not giving Roy Ngerng any opportunity to defend himself against the allegations made against him? Where was the principle of fairness and natural justice in the case of Roy Ngerng?

“Social responsibility” in employing 80% foreigners?

Where is “social responsibility” if it is true that about 80 per cent of the employees are non-Singaporeans (work permits, S-pass, employment pass, PRs, foreign spouses on letter of consent, foreign interns, trainees, etc)?

Hypocrisy and double standards?

Don’t you feel that MOH’s statement reeks of hypocrisy and double standards?

Institutions are required to support the PAP, thus they have to craft policies on the fly to meet that demand. So, you see the inconsistency. One day, policy A is right and policy B is wrong. The next day policy B is right and policy B is wrong. It makes no sense when policies are not based on principles but on the whims and fancies of the PAP.

Pinoys are the biggest racists. Don't be fooled by the smiley, happy-go-lucky, Catholic piety ruse on the exterior.

The Tiongs may be inconsiderate and boorish, the Ah Nehs may be horny and stingy, but those are nothing compared to the Pinoys.

What does the Pinoys have to be proud? They are now begging the USA to return to Pinoyland.

Comment from FiloFail:

When I think of Philippines, I think of a group of islands populated and governed by unsupervised, undisciplined children no older than about age 10 who were never taught manners, or to think for themselves (or to think at all), and are starved for attention.

The Philippines tends to dumbshit all over themselves to the world at least 3 times a year. And the sad thing is, they don’t ever realize it, nor will they ever admit it once it’s been proven.

Just a nation of complete morons. I honestly don’t know how they wipe their own ass, much less build malls. Scary.

We should just deport all the Pinoys first. If the government doesn't want to do that, then sinkees should make life miserable for all foreigners.
