'Misbehaving' Thai monks video goes viral

A video showing misbehaviour among monks has caused a stir in Thailand, with images showing the followers of Buddhism on a plane, wearing sunglasses and carrying designer bags.
The country's governing religious body is investigating the footage.

Has anyone ever watched the movie "The Cup?"

It is a Tibetan movie about the activities and people at a monastery. The older monks are trying to stick to the old order of things and lifestyle, whilst the younger monks are obsessed with soccer! It is an entertaining and thought-provoking movie contrasting old and modern ways. I suppose the message applies to the thread title, except that soccer isn't viewed as materialistic wealth.
