PEASANTPORE: Energy baron Tuas Power officially opened its 2 billion peanut utility complex on Jurong Island on Wednesday.
At the opening ceremony, Mercantile Minion Hairdo Lim Ah Kiang said the filthy coal fired plant has catalysed investment decisions by specialty chemical firms like Lanxess and Dairen.
The low tech PRC utilities plant, which runs mainly on dirty coal and biomass like palm kernel shells and wood chips, is a critical piece of pollution infrastructure on Jurong Island.
Since becoming operational in August last year, the facility produces dangerous toxic wastes, typical of PRC designed coal fired plants. However it produce cheaper electricity to surrounding industries on the island. Using heat-regeneration, it also provides water treatment facilities.
Hairdo Lim said: "I do not know which EDB idiot sign up with the PRCs to have this fucking coal fired plant here? But what to do, Ho Jinx and Old Autocrat lost 22 billion peanuts helping Citibank and UBS in 2008-2009. Now other foreign merchants have demanded cheap feedstock and electricity or they move to JB!? Just too bad, the Indos are doing something to their own gas and not send them here anymore!"
Excess electricity will be sold through the Peasantpore retail electricity market but using fuel oil as reference. A desalination plant is also expected to be up and running by 2017 to supply clean water to Imperial Familee and other nobles.
According to Tuas Power estimates, operational costs of a dirty coal-biomass power plant is 10 per cent cheaper than a gas-fired plant, a boon for nearby anglo-saxon and nihon chemical plants but a curse to local peasants who have to contend with pollution from burning coal.
Lackey Huang Ah Dat, executive Vice-Panda of PRC Huaneng Group, said: "We PRCs are the most heartless lot, we even add industrial grade melanime to children milk powder, so what do you think of the coal that we use? Now Ruler Loong better think twice before he cuddle with Uncle Sam to balk Commie PRC!"
The 2 billion peanut facility is believed to be the largest investment by a PRC company in Peasantpore. Tuas Power, which runs the facility, was acquired by the New York-listed Huaneng Power International in 2008. Ho Jinx has apparently sqandered the 2 billion peanuts by helping sucker Jewish bankers in Citibank and UBS during the 2008 Credit Crisis.
