On May 28, Spanish news outlet La Opinion de Murica reported that Spain's agency responsible for immigration and border control requested Ong's immediate deportation back to Singapore.

However, a judge in Spain denied the request over concerns about the death penalty in Singapore.

But in an ironic plot twist, MHA says: "He's not our problem" and declares they won't investigate or prosecute the Sg man who murdered Sg bu in Spain if he kena deported back to Sg (as was the Spainish ICA's plan).

Which means this Sg man very nearly totally got away with murder of the Sg bu.

In contrast :
Any Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident found to have abused drugs overseas will be treated as if he/she had abused drugs within Singapore. Consumption of a controlled drug is an offence and a person may face imprisonment of a minimum of 1 year and up to 10 years, or a fine not exceeding S$20,000 or both.

Spain doesn't have the death penalty, so I urge the court there to locked Mitchell Ong up and throw away the key for the good of all humanity.

Sinkie guy murdered a non spanish citizen.
Why waste time investigating, trial and putting him in prison? Will cost millions.deporting only cost thousands.

True .... last time got 1 case where 1 HKeeman kill his HKeebu girlfriend in Taiwan and dump the body in Taiwan before returning back HKland .... end of the day, even will all the evidence in Taiwan, HKland still cannot arrest that HKeeman or charge him for the murder .... HK government say that HKeeman need to go back to Taiwan to surrender himself voluntarily and his murder cannot be trial in HKland. Taiwan immigration dont allow this HKeeman travel visa to go Taiwan because he has arrest warrant to him ... so he cannot "volunteer" to return Taiwan for trial .... end of the day, he walks free legally till now. Same apply to this case. :whistling:
