MFA don't issue temporary passport for those who lost their passports overseas.

TRS failed! Document of Identity is a form of temporary passport! The woman who lost her passport was given 2 options and she chose for a document of identity. Now she complains for being treated like a criminal when she was the one who chose not to make another passport? Seriously?

Document of Identity is a form of temporary passport! The woman who lost her passport was given 2 options and she chose for a document of identity.

Document of Identify is meant to only help you return to Singapore. It is not for travelling to another country.

It takes 3-4 weeks to apply for a new passport in foreign country. Meantime, you cannot go anywhere else.
