A Mercedes driver was caught on video dangerously tailgating an ambulance on the road shoulder of an expressway.
The loud blares of the ambulance siren can be heard in the video.
According to information online, SDP9630R -- Mercedes Benz CLS was tailgating the ambulance which was travelling from NUH to SGH. There was also a patient inside the ambulance at that time.
The video, which is circulating on Facebook, was sent in by Stomper Alex. However, the video was taken by a crew on the ambulance.
Stomper Alex said:
"The driver of this SDP9630R -- Mercedes Benz CLS seemed to be even more in a hurry than an emergency ambulance.
"At first we thought he was the relative of the patient, but at the end of the video, he was shown zooming fast away from the ambulance to somewhere else.
"This is very dangerous as if the ambulance brakes, he would cause a serious accident and endanger the patient even further."
