Meet SDP's Newest Member...

Where in his CV said he is now with SDP? FB said he is still with NSP.

whether SDP or NSP.......i see opposition party........he was one of the speakers at TJS rally but spoke in malay so i cannot gauge him.

This part about his qualification is something I don't understand. UOL of Lincoln's Inn ? I would have thought only a Barrister-at-law would be linked to some Inns of Courts such as Lincoln. So is this Mat a Barrister or not ?

The University of London is made up of 19 colleges and institutions as follows:

Birkbeck, University of London
The Central School of Speech and Drama
Courtauld Institute of Art
Goldsmiths, University of London
Heythrop College
The Institute of Cancer Research
Institute of Education
King's College London
London Business School
The London School of Economics and Political Science
London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine
Queen Mary, University of London
Royal Academy of Music
Royal Holloway, University of London
The Royal Veterinary College
St George's, University of London
The School of Oriental and African Studies
The School of Pharmacy
UCL
School of Advanced Study
University of London Institute in Paris
University of London International Programmes (Distance Learning)
University Marine Biological Station, Millport

So if you say you are graduate of Queen Mary College, you are actually a graduate of UOL.

Admitted to MSc Forensic Psychology ? Admitted ? So got complete the course or not ? Anybody with a degree can be admitted to such distance-learning course. And you're right. Offered to do PhD? Got complete the course or not ?

I don't like the way he 'fluff' his resume.

Consider that he already has a law degree from UOL and a masters's degree, I would not consider that "fluffing".

It would however be "fluffing" if he does not have a single degree.

Nothing surprising. There are many new comers joining SDP since the last elections. Heard many are armed with degrees.

Now working actively as volunteers. GE2016 will see many of them stand as candidates.

The SDP today is different from the SDP 10 years ago. Nothing is wrong with them, in fact the SDP is actually attracting talents into their fold. One simple example, the good doctor Dr Paul Tambyah can see SDP is the way to go.

Sounds like opportunitist looking for a way to the political limelight and not of those who are really interested in developing the political course and landscape.

To overcome the PAP machinary, it takes time and tact. Which some other parties have been doing so for a long time to overcome such monopoly. We need commitment, not just a one hit wonder.

That is one of the reasons why TJS was rejected by WP when he offered himself.

If SDP are consist of mostly these sort, then you do have a problem.

Actually, now that it has stopped law-violation activities for at least 3 years, the like SDP which used to look like Barisan now runs the risk of becoming the opposite and something that used to exist before, which still may not be good. The Roundtable. The likes of Simon Tay, Cherian George, Kelvin Tan, Lam Peng Er, Harish Pillay and our very own ex-transport minister Raymond and SDP's own Gomez. Gomez left and founded Think Centre with a group of nobodies which ironically ran faster than the group of elites.

No need to become too academic or act like one. The trick is a mixed bag.

Yes you are right. Dr Paul Tambyah, Dr Leong, etc. are some of the talents attracted to SDP.

Yes we shall see more of such people in the coming elections. Hurray to SDP!

Well at least he's cleverer than TJS

How come everyone seem to be on the offensive against SDP members right now? This guy is formerly YPAP so? Isn't Benjamin Pwee also former YPAP? He turned out to be quite OK. Seems like a lot of hate against SDP right now

SDP seems to be taking in lots of Psychologists.

Bcos these ppl can think independently.

How about the PAP? Only dogs like you seem to join the PAP. Your shift ending at 7am tomoro?

Hehehe... can expect more rubbish from you?

More like pariahs parachuting into the party.

Doggie stuffychute wagging tail asking for bones. Will be here till 7am when the doggie would have to knock off again.

As if I didn't know ? So in your list of 19 colleges, where is Lincoln's Inn ?

Lincoln's Inn is one of four Inns of Courts, nothing to do with UOL. If you're not a barrister-at-law, you're not supposed to carry the initials of any of the Inns of Courts. Did he pass the English Bar Finals ?

And who in the right mind would include acceptance into a university as part of one's CV ?
