Advertisement for gruelling game show asks for students, new citizens -- why not adults?

An advertisment looking for applicants to take part in a new television game show has angered a STOMPer, who wondered why Mediacorp didn't call for Singaporean adults.

The advertisement is for Sasuke Singapore, a new game show that is adapted from a Japanese series of the same name. According to the show's facebook page, contestants will put through a gruelling obstacle course where 'they'll have to show agility, grit and might to get through to the finish.'

The STOMPer wrote:

"This Channel 5 advertisement only advertises that it wants new citizens, tertiary students, uniform groups and cosplays.

"Nonsense -- what about us Singaporean adults who are not new citizens?"
