協會批評無線於2017年純利高達2.44億元的同時，卻一再縮減開支，裁減為集團盈利付出貢獻的員工，對無線此舉深感憤怒。
協會希望無線作為業界龍頭，應把員工視作為最寶貴資產，不要只懂向員工開刀，更要肩負起企業的社會責任，馬上停止繼續裁員。
協會還呼籲受影響員工盡快與會方聯絡，強調協會及工聯會已準備好隨時為受影響的員工提供協助。
