After Band of Brothers (2001) and The Pacific (2010), a new HBO mini-series is coming our way. I am glad, something to look forward to.

Masters of the Air is an upcoming American war drama miniseries based on the actions of the Eighth Air Force of the United States Army Air Forces during World War II. It is being produced by Playtone, Parliament of Owls and Amblin Television, which also made its precursors Band of Brothers and The Pacific.

Five miles above the earth and deep behind enemy lines, eleven men inside a bomber known as the "Flying Fortress" fight for their lives against swarms of enemy German fighters. As American bombers are picked off one by one, their mission becomes very clear: survive. —blarre72
