The Ministry of Health (MOH) has confirmed nine new Covid-19 clusters in Singapore on Apr. 24, 2020.

Earlier in the day, 897 new cases were announced, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 12,075.

9 new clusters
Among the new clusters, five are foreign worker accommodations.

The other three are a massage parlour, a hotel, as well as industrial units in Tuas and Pioneer.

Here are the details:

  1. 41 of the earlier confirmed cases have now been linked to a new cluster at Alaunia Lodge (Admiralty Road West).
  2. One of the newly confirmed cases is linked to eight previous cases to form a new cluster at SSKBJV Dormitory (31A Tanah Merah Coast Road).
  3. 23 of the earlier confirmed cases have now been linked to a new cluster at Westlite Juniper (23 Mandai Estate).
  4. Six of the earlier confirmed cases have now been linked to a new cluster at Natureland East Coast (907 East Coast Road).
  5. Five of the newly confirmed cases are now linked to a new cluster at Strand Hotel (25 Bencoolen Street).
  6. Six of the earlier confirmed cases have now been linked to a new cluster at 112 Neythal Road.
  7. 11 of the newly confirmed cases are linked to 11 previous cases to form a new cluster at 10 Shaw Road.
  8. Four of the newly confirmed cases are linked to nine previous cases to form a new cluster at 2 Sungei Kadut Avenue.
  9. One of the newly confirmed cases is linked to 11 previous cases to form a new cluster at 11 Tuas Avenue 10.
Notice of closure from massage parlour
On Apr. 22, Natureland put up a notice on their site, informing customers of their continued closure due to circuit breaker measures.

"In light of the new government announcements and precautionary measures; we will continue to close until 01 June 2020 for all our outlets and home services. We seek your kind understanding on our new arrangements and apologise for any inconveniences caused.
We wish everyone to be safe and may everyone ride through this crisis together. Again thank you for your continuous support and patronage in the near future."
Natureland has seven outlets in Singapore.

whether it is a "clean" spa or not, it doesn't matter. during a massage you are in close proximity with an infected masseuse so you are bound to get covid.
