Massage parlour in Sibu raided

SIBU: A 42-year-old woman from China was in the midst of putting on her clothes when a police team raided a room of a massage parlour at Jalan Cross.
She was with a customer who was then naked.
The operation against immoral activity, code named Op Noda Khas that began at 10.40pm on Friday night was led by Inspector Mohd Fazirul with officers from D7 unit (Gambling, Vice and Secret Societies).
The woman told police in their initial investigation that she charged her clients RM300 (S$115) that included sex and massage.
She was later arrested under Section 372B of the Penal Code for soliciting for soliciting for purpose of prostitution.
The man who is a local was released after the police had recorded his statement.
Items seized from the woman included a used condom, an empty condom packet and RM300.
The police also arrested and another 11 women, which included a local woman.
They are now being detained at Sungai Merah police station for investigation.
The 49-year old local woman who is the manager of the premises is being detained under Section 373 of the same code for harbouring women for prostitution.
