People can change the norms into a slower pace of life … just faithfully pay their monthly home loans & no need to pay lump sum to reduce the repayment years, do not buy a car as public transport is well connected here & tuition classes is a waste of money

I always tell my kids that you must be serious in your study at school & do your homework at home so we need not hire dubious tutors or go to those tuition centres that want your money but teach your nothings

Enrichment classes for MOE students is a billion dollar industry now. Think about their economic contributions; many malls cannot function without them.

MOE is supporting this industry too. There are things that the school don't teach that are essential for examinations. It is almost impossible to get AL1 in English, Chinese and Maths in PSLE, without attending such classes.
