Mr Tan told the crowd that he has written a request to MAS Chairman Mr Goh Chok Tong for a meeting next week and if he is not available, to send a senior executive to meet him. He wanted MAS to conduct an inquiry into the banks’ conduct and to take action against them if it found any evidence of mis-selling and mis-representation.
