Man under investigation for insulting woman's modesty

SINGAPORE - A 21-year-old man is being investigated for insulting a woman's modesty in Hougang after a report was made on 29 January 2013.

With the assistance of Police cameras installed at an HDB block and Appeal for Information issued through newspapers and Police Facebook pages,

Police have identified a 21-year-old man who is believed to be responsible insulting the modesty of a woman in Hougang housing estate reported on 29 January 2013.

Police retrieved a picture of the suspect from police cameras installed at the HDB block, and was able to find information on him through Facebook pages of Sengkang and Punggol Neighbourhood Police Centres.

If convicted, the man can be jailed for up to one year, or fined, or both.
