Man nabbed for outrage of modesty at library

SINGAPORE - Police have arrested a 40-year-old man for his involvement in a case of outrage of modesty that occurred in a public library.
On March 31 about 6.04pm, a 16-year-old female reported that a man had allegedly molested her in the library.
When the security officer was alerted, he stopped the suspect and notified the police.
Police officers placed the suspect under arrest upon arrival at the scene.
The suspect will be charged in court on April 2. He could be jailed up to 2 years, be fined or caned if found guilty.
