SINGAPORE - A sales executive who hit a nightclub patron once on his face with a plastic decanter was jailed for six weeks on Tuesday.
Desmond Koh Wee Boon, 29, had admitted to causing hurt to assistant operations manager Tan Soon Tiang, 37, at Mandopop club, Shanghai Dolly, at Clarke Quay at about 2am on March 31 last year.
He used such force that the decanter broke into pieces and permanently disfigured the victim's nose, the court heard.
Investigation showed that Mr Tan and three others, including two women, were at the nightclub for drinks. Koh and his group of friends stood nearby at another table to drink.
