A deliveryman was sentenced to five months' jail and fined a total of $77,000 today for flouting employment laws, criminal breach of trust and casino-related offences.

Dennis Goh Chee Yang, 30, admitted running an employment agency without a licence in June, November and December last year, and 19 other charges.

He was working for F & C Enterprise when he misappropriated $1,228 between March 23 and 25 this year.

The following month, he made use of Mr Ng Ming Hui's identity card to apply for loans of $10,000 and $2,000.
