SINGAPORE: An unemployed man was on Tuesday jailed 18 months and given four strokes of the cane for molesting two teenage boys.
Twenty-three-year-old Kelvin Yeo Gao Wei made friends with one his victims, a 15-year-old student, in September last year.
Yeo subsequently asked the boy to perform a sexual act in his presence on September 22.
He also told the boy he would gather his friends to hunt him down should the youngster refuse to do so.
The teenager agreed to meet Yeo after school on September 23, 2009 for fear of being hurt.
Yeo then brought him to a male toilet at Delta Sports Complex and molested him.
By using similar threats, Yeo managed to lure another boy to his flat at Block 107, Commonwealth Crescent on December 29 last year.
The 14-year-old student went there at around 11.40pm. Yeo then instructed him to remove his trousers before molesting him.
Yeo also warned the boy not to notify anybody about the incident.
The student told the police on January 6 this year, about his ordeal and Yeo was arrested.
For molesting the boys, Yeo could have been jailed up to five years and fined or caned for each charge.
