Man flees shop with unpaid Rolex watch

The running shoes were a sign that he may be up to no good.
That he kept his head down, as if to avoid the security cameras, was another.
And when he insisted on trying on two brand new Rolex watches, it became clear that the man may be out to steal the watches, thought the owner of a jewellery shop at Block 131, Jurong East Central.
The owner, who wanted to be identified only as Madam Chen, proved to be right when the man fled with a $14,000 Rolex watch.
While making his escape, the man was pounced upon by passers-by and eventually subdued.
