Man attacked by youths with samurai swords
KULIM: A man sustained head and body injuries in an attack by a group of youths armed with samurai swords outside the home of his wife's ex-husband in Taman Tunku Putra on Sunday.
In the 10am incident, Kulim police deputy chief DSP Chin Soo Soong said the unidentified victim, in his 40s, had accompanied his wife to pick up her young daughter from the home of the ex-husband.
Upon arrival at the house, the ex-husband refused to allow the daughter to accompany her mother and stepfather.
Instead, the man was believed to have contacted a group of youths to 'settle' the matter.
The group arrived at the house and forced the victim out of the premises before attacking him with swords.
The assailants fled from the scene after.
The man then sought out-patient treatment at a private clinic. - Bernama
