Man arrested for making bomb threat to National Skin Centre

SINGAPORE - A 33-year-old Chinese man has been arrested for a making a bomb threat via a phone call.
On June 25, 2012 at about 2.10pm, the National Skin Centre received a bomb threat and reported the matter to the police.
Upon receiving the information, officers from Ang Mo Kio Police Division carried out investigations and traced the identity of the suspect. The suspect was apprehended the same day at about 10pm at his home in Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3.
Investigations against the suspect are on-going.
For making a bomb threat, the suspect could face a maximum fine of up to $50,000, or imprisonment of up to seven years, or both.
