Man arrested for committing obscene act in public

SINGAPORE: Police have arrested a 42-year-old man for performing an obscene act in public and for fraudulent possession.
On 9 April 2014, at about 2.18 am, police received a call from a 24-year-old female victim saying that a man had committed an obscene act at Jurong West Street 93.
Police officers from Jurong Police Division responded to the incident and arrested the male suspect.
With his arrest, three mobile phones, one cashcard and five adults ez-link cards were found on him.
Police believed these were fraudulently obtained and seized them.
Investigation against the man is ongoing.
If convicted of performing an obscene act in public, he could be jailed up to three months and fined.
Anyone who holds stolen or fraudulently obtained objects can, upon conviction, be fined up S$3,000 or jailed up to a year. - CNA/de
