#1. Understand that a coalition led by Anwar is not the solution. Muslims will eventually choose their abang adik over a Chinese party. No matter how much victory PKR, PAS or BN achieves, these 3 parties will eventually hold hands with each other in the name of Muslim brotherhood. The present antagony is purely one man Anwar having an axe to grind with his former party stalwarts, PKR will not oppose BN forever.

#2. Understand that the DAP, PKR and PAS can never agree with each other eventually.
DAP is the brand trusted by Malaysian Chinese.
PAS is the brand trusted by hardcore Muslims.
PKR comprises Anwar's camp of former BN people, mostly those close to him who got sidelined by BN.

Now.. if together they form the government one day, they will spend most of their time debating whether they should have Hudud laws, policies favoring bumiputras, or building for secular Chinese schools. They will eventually split.

PKR will have to push for bumiputra agenda to win the Malay votes, otherwise they stand for nothing, especially after Anwar is gone.

So there you go... the Chinese will have to fight it alone via DAP.

And in a country comprising almost 70% Malays, how could DAP ever dominate the government?

So Malaysian Chinese, you need to make more babies than the Malays. You need to continually "outperform" the Malays in fertility for a whole generation... maybe in 50 years time you could have enough votes to defeat BN... until then, be contented with what you have. The Malaysian Malays are one of the nicest and most accomodating people around and it remains easy to make money amongst them.

IN conclusion, this is a war of fertility which Barisan National has quietly carried out since independence which saw a steady decline of Malaysian Chinese population. They might not appear smart, but they are smarter than you think.
