THOSE crippled by M1's major network disruption on Wednesday have been able to use their mobile phones since 10pm on Wednesday.

The telco told The Straits Times its network has been fully restored.

Even then, some users have complained about spotty coverage on Thursday morning.

Among them was public relations executive Adeline Lee, 29, who said her connections were 'intermittent' when launching applications like WhatsApp Messenger, Facebook and Twitter on her iPhone.

'I can see the signal bar fluctuating when I move around the office,' said Ms Lee, who works in a technology company in Clemenceau Avenue.

As at 5.30pm on Thursday, M1 still could not explain what caused the network to go down for as long as 14 hours, during which some customers were not able to make or receive phone calls, and send or receive text messages.
