The bus went from Outram to Clementi, then to Bukit Batok before ending up in Queenstown.

The driver had not lost his way - rather, he had gone on a two-hour joyride after breaking into the vehicle.

On Wednesday, Nasrul Hisyam Nezarwan, 23, who left his fingerprints in the bus, was jailed for a year and three months and fined $1,000.

He was also disqualified from driving all kinds of vehicles for four years after his release from prison.
