SINGAPORE: Workers' Party (WP) chief Low Thia Khiang was re-elected as its secretary-general in the party's biennial Central Executive Committee (CEC) election on Sunday (May 29).
Party chairman Sylvia Lim too, was re-elected.
All of the WP's Members of Parliament and Non-constituency MPs were elected to the CEC, including their fellow Aljunied MPs Chen Show Mao, Pritam Singh and Muhamad Faisal Abdul Manap, as well as Hougang MP Png Eng Huat and NCMPs Daniel Goh, Dennis Tan and Leon Perera.
Former Punggol East MP Lee Li Lian and former NCMP Gerald Giam were also re-elected to their posts.
