Anybody tasted whale meat before? Looks like it will become impossible to taste this from now unless one washes up on the east coast shores.

Cheers!

Japan ordered to immediately stop whaling in Antarctic as International Court of Justice rules program was not carried out for scientific purposes

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) has ruled Japan must immediately stop its whaling program in the Antarctic.
The ICJ's 16-judge panel ruled 12 votes to four in favour of Australia's argument that Japan's whaling program was not in fact designed and carried out for scientific purposes.
The court ruled that Japan must revoke current whaling permits and refrain from issuing any more.
Japan has used the 1946 International Convention for the Regulation of Whaling, which permits killing for research, to justify killing whales in the Antarctic.

never ate one before... only plenty of snakes

this world is getting sick. one day we'll all run out of food and die

I have eaten snake before. Once my friends and me cooked a python, we skinned it, drank its blood, skinned it, chopped into pieces and baked it in the oven; caught locally by a policeman friend. Another time in a restaurant in HK, don't know what species of snake was in the concoction.

Cheer!

where is the place you ate them?

Do they have cobras?

Some day, humans will become vegetarians. For now, meat is loved. In Arthur Clarke's novel, The Deep, whales were herded like cattle, and slaughtered in a factory type setup in the story. The story is forward looking in that the migratory patterns of the animals were studied and they were raised as cattle are in order to facilitate species continuity rather than present-day (or past) practice of hunting and raising the possibility of exterminating them to extinction. In some cultures, whale is seen as a food source like we view pigs and chicken.
