Giant lizard at Sengkang

20100712.092536_sengkangmonitor.jpg

A HUGE monitor lizard, measuring over 2m long, was caught at a void deck in Rivervale Crescent yesterday afternoon. In an e-mail, a Stomp contributor said residents there were wondering how much it would fetch if it were sold to a market.

Some Stompers told the residents to respect nature while others asked if it was even legal to sell the animal.

LEEgal nor not - JUST EAT IT!

:D:D Yum Yum!

skin it alive...cook for soup...ish bery goot for body.

:p :D :p

For a moment I tot u were referring to Lizard Kwa!

They should just leave the lizard alone to catch the rats. They may make a good pest control for the rats problem.

And this is NEWS in Singapore.....

Singaporean never saw lizard before mah. All living in concrete cave/pigeonhole.
They should travel more often to Johore/Ubin. But most only walking /shopping in street/supermarket. No chance to see wild living animal.
