In a media interview yesterday (Sept 7), former Manpower Minister Lim Swee Say and PAP candidate for East Coast GRC proudly promoted his manpower ministry and his ruling party that the PAP is the best in the world when it comes to employment.
Lim Swee Say told Singaporeans to vote for him because Singaporeans have low unemployment rate, “high employment rate” and and rising wages.

“In the case of the workers’ interest, I would say that the PAP government has done one of the best jobs in the world, compared to any government.
Singapore’s current labour situation was in an exceptional position compared to the high unemployment rates and stagnating wages recently seen in other countries
Where else in the world can you find a country where, firstly, unemployment is low; secondly, (the) employment rate — meaning those who want to work (can get a job) — is one of the highest in the world? … More importantly, our wages continue to go up.”

PAP is indeed the best in the world when it comes to ensuring employment of foreign talents in Singapore.

Lim Swee Say is also right bcause foreign talents have low unemployment rate, “high employment rate” and and rising wages when compared to their home country salaries.

thanks to your 260 permit a week issued to foriegners and in a year we have 13,520 every year getting the permit, ,,, S pass, E pass and etc,
so the next five years we will have 67600working here and fighting for our jobs.
