Yesterday (23 Jan), three events amazingly happened to Social and Family Development Minister Chan Chun Sing all in 1 single day (‘Chan Chun Sing to become NTUC Secretary-General‘):

NTUC Secretary-General Lim Swee Say and its President Diana Chia wrote to PM Lee requesting that he considers “releasing Minister Chan Chun Sing” to serve in NTUC ASAP

PM Lee replied back, agreeing to “release” Minister Chan from his current position in MSF

By afternoon, donning a matching NTUC t-shirt, Minister Chan was formally introduced to about 150 union leaders at NTUC Centre
