A car accident has not only left a Singapore Idol contestant in coma for 7 months but also changed the way he looks.

As such, a lawyer is offering to help the victim make a claim of $2 million in compensation free of charge.

The once handsome car dealer, Dai Qingyuan (29 years old), was involved in a serious car accident earlier this year.

Though currently discharged, Dai has yet to gain consciousness.

Dai's mother revealed that her son has lost the ability to take care of himself and a tube had to be inserted through his nostril in order to feed him.

The victim’s father has since quit his job as a driver and they have also hired full-time maids to take care of him round the clock.

Dai’s mother is still hopeful that he will come out of his coma one day and gets excited when she sees him move his tongue, as if trying to speak.

However, doctors say it is merely a reflex and may not be a sign of recovery.

dai sounds like fucking shanghai surname. lemme guess, new PR trash who crashed his employer's car at the dealership???

and his father quit his job as soon as his lawyer say can claim 2 mil ??? fucking hell, this type of father will cut off his feeding tube as soon as he gets the money loh.

Can someone please explain to me what is the point of censoring the parent's face when the son's face show big big in the picture????

oh mine, it is so sad.

no money in the world can compensate that, i rather die than be in such a state, no money can make this situation better.

And how much of a percentage will be lawyer be creaming off for his 'free' services? Free means even when the $2M is awarded, he will not be given a single cent. Not that I think he shouldn't be compensated for the service but claiming that it's free is a little over the top.

Free publicity for the lawyer! He offers Free legal services... and they short of publishing his NAME.

Isn't the practice of contingency fees a breach of the publicity rules ?

He being a bottom feeding lawyer would have ensured no rules are broken and that every loophole is exploited and taken advantage of. But that's his job.
