詐騙集團又見新手法,先將受害人手機門號掛失,再盜刷信用卡,近來各地接獲十餘起類似報案。
台北市一名陳姓男子日前接獲自稱信用卡公司電話,對方要確認他的信用卡詳細資訊,不料,對方取得資訊後,打電話跟電信公司掛失陳的手機門號,隨後到各網路、實體店家盜刷他的信用卡,等陳發現時,已被盜刷數萬元。警方指出,各地近來接獲十餘起類似手法的盜刷報案,是詐騙集團盜刷信用卡的新手法。
警方調查,詐騙集團先藉機取得陳姓男子的信用卡資料,撥電話給陳男時,先主動說出陳的年籍資料、信用卡卡號等資訊,取得他的信任,接著以調查客戶進一步資訊為由,向他詢問「你國小讀哪裡?」「最愛吃的東西是什麼?」「家中成員有幾個?」等基本資料,隨即冒用陳男的身分到電信公司掛失。
手機門號掛失期間,陳姓男子突然不能接、撥電話,此時詐騙集團開始四處盜刷,信用卡公司傳訊息給他在何地刷卡消費等訊息,陳都接收不到,直到收到信用卡帳單,才發現信用卡被盜刷五萬多元,才想起那通電話就是騙局的開始。
警方指出,新北市賴姓男子報案稱自己也被這種手法受騙,遭盜刷金額達八萬元,進一步清查發現,桃園、台中和高雄等地都有類似盜刷報案。
警方表示,由於持卡人突然不能用手機,會主動詢問電信公司,詐騙集團就在持卡人發覺前「努力」盜刷,這類盜刷期間最長不超過一周,有的是持卡人剛好出國,暫時不用手機,更容易得逞。而詐騙集團因為不確知持卡人的信用額度,不敢盜刷大筆金額,都是累計多筆消費到數萬元,避免驚動信用卡公司向持卡人徵信。
電信業者坦言,客戶用電話掛失手機門號,除確認年籍資料外,會隨機抽取當初客戶填寫的資料,作為最後確認的題目,例如念哪所學校?就是當初填寫的資訊,客戶掛失後可以選擇「不能撥不能接」和「不能撥可以接」,一般會建議掛失要去警局報案。
警方分析,一般詐騙集團都是在電話中指示被害人去提、匯款,但此新手法沒有要錢,降低被害民眾心防,認為只是問問基本資料,殊不知是門號掛失的「通關密碼」。
警方說,信用卡客服人員不會主動撥打電話,詢問、確認客戶個人基本資料,除民眾主動撥打信用卡公司客服專線,信用卡公司沒有主動向民眾詢問查核個人資料機制。
