no matter what pattern they can come up with, exchanging underwear or exchanging chairs in different GRCs wont make any difference. this tactic works as a double edged sword, can work to their own advantage or can be their own undoing. u put an alien in a new GRC, where he's never interacted with the contituents, and expect them to give him the mandate?

so far, all that municipal upgrading carrot nonsense is not being bought by the constituents, bcos nobody's going to sleep under the sheltered walkway, nor has time to enjoy the mosquito breeding garden patches.

once upon a time, all MPs were representing SMC, till some wise kid decided to pool more monkeys into 1 pod & call it GRC. that was when it made the slope real steep for the opposition to mount any possible challenge. these days, apart form bonded scholar slaves who can appreciate their self-serving policies, u'd notice that "nobody" is keen to join their party.

they say their fat salaries are to 1) entice talents from private sector to join them, 2) to keep corruption at bay! in essence is just bollocks.

in the many yrs passed, the ppl have witnessed for themselves, what good public servants the bunch of jokers have been. the opposition have now found many new passionate ppl from different walks of life, who want to make a stand, to make a change to the political arena in this island city....... the white knights r now feeling the tremors in their massage chairs, and sorting the order in the house, swapping places.

whichever places they swap, there's no denying that 2011 is the year of reckoning. their retrenchment letter will come in the form of poll.
