I am sure those who have been drinking his urine all these years and those of other sportsmen and women who have accomplished extraordinary feats would come to the realisation that urine tests are meant to catch out the dumb ones.

East Germany proved beyond all doubt that state sponsored programmes with all that funding can provide a sophisticated operation where illegal performance enhancement methods can be done, can be masked and the story can be held for a long time.

So if a team mate from the same training cohort under the same state programme and marshalled so tightly from early childhood has tested positive for a drug that is not easily available and she is 16, what does that tell us all about her team mates ?

Yes. And it is a sad story to see people doing this. It obvious they were testing the system by floating her colleague to see if she would be caught and to find out how far they can go. There is no way a 16 yr old will do drugs on her own in a highly structured programme where the controls are so tight. They can't even contact their parents for weeks.
