A former sales manager who drove a used Lamborghini from a showroom and met with a traffic accident was jailed four weeks on Thursday for various traffic offences.

James Khoo Kay Seng, 53, then with Eurokars Pre-Owned, was also fined a total of $4,000 and banned from driving for 30 months.

He pleaded guilty to six charges - driving without the owner's consent, a valid driving licence, insurance coverage, failing to stop and render assistance after he was involved in the accident with a taxi, and careless driving.

The offences took place along Guillemard Road at 2.57am on Aug 31, 2011.
