Cab collides with cyclist and pedestrians in Joo Chiat accident
A cab was caught on CCTV footage, mounting a curb at the junction of Joo Chiat and East Coast Road, and colliding with several pedestrians and a cyclist.
STOMPer Ng caught the entire accident on the CCTV of his cab but told STOMP that he would not stop and help as he was driving a passenger.
In his email, he recounted:
"On July 31 at about 3:52am, the CCTV on my cab captured the accident which occurred at the cross junction of Joo Chiat Road and East Coast Road, heading towards Upper East Coast Road.
"Due to the fact that there was a passenger on board, I did not stop my cab at that point of time.
"I then found out that there were three pedestrians and a cyclist at the Joo Chiat Road junction when I got home to take a look at my CCTV record."
